Are You Backing Up Your Wordpress Website?

I don't know about you, but I researched to find out what others were doing to keep their blog secure, and when I first secured my WordPress blog, I found information I was confused. And some of the information was in fact on superstitious or the top. People told me to rename this file, rename this folder and install these ten plugins. It seemed to be a bit of work and effort.

Cloning your site is just another degree in secure your wordpress website which can be very useful. Cloning simply means that you've backed up your website to a completely different place, (offline, as in a folder, in order not to have SEO issues ) where you can get it at a moment's notice if the need arises.

There are ways to pull off this, and a lot involve re-establishing much more and databases and FTPing files, exporting and copying. Some of them are very complex, so it is important that you go for the right one. Then you might want to look into using a plugin for WordPress backups if you are not of the persuasion that is my blog technical.

You must create a user with administrator rights, before you can delete the default admin account. To do this go to your WordPress Dashboard and click on User -> Create New User. Then enter all the information you need to enter.

Take note of your password! I recommend the version of the software *Roboform* to remember your passwords.

Of course it's possible to install more plugins to make your store more user friendly like automated backup see this page plugin or share Click This Link buttons. That's all. Your shop is up and running!
